چکیده

Background and Aim: IPB-D2 chickens are selected from IPB-D1 due to their disease-resistance characteristics. One-way evaluate the strength of a chicken’s immune system is by examining number circulating T lymphocytes. This assessment can be conducted using modern analytic method called flow cytometry which relies on monoclonal antibodies detect relative proportions each cell measure quality quantity biological physical features cells, including specific membrane or intracellular glycoprotein markers. Therefore, this study aimed population lymphocytes, cluster differentiation (CD)4+ CD8+ in chickens. Materials Methods: Flow was used CD4+, The data obtained were analyzed Minitab, mean values compared t-test. Results: populations chicken with high Newcastle disease (ND) antibody titers 65.04%, 10.53%, 5.47%. Meanwhile, breed, low ND had lymphocytes CD4+ 57.19%, 8.40%, 4.11 %. comparison 1.92 2.04, respectively. Conclusion: exhibited increased lymphocyte, those titers. However, titer group lower CD4+/CD8+ ratio. Keywords: 4+, 8+, cytometry, chicken,

The effect of mixed live vaccines of Newcastle disease and infectious bronchitis on systemic and local antibody responses in chickens

In the present study, 360 male day-old broiler chicks were used to determine the effect of mixed livevaccines of Newcastle disease (ND) and infectious bronchitis (IB) on serum and local antibody responses toIB. Chicks were randomly divided into 12 treatment groups of 3 replicates and reared for 40 days on floorpens. Groups 1 to 5 received mixed ND and IB vaccine. Groups 7 to 11 received IB vacc...

Effect of low dose gamma-radiation upon Newcastle disease virus antibody level in chicken

Background: The specific antibody response against Newcastle disease virus (NDV) in the blood serum of chickens hatched from eggs exposed to low dose gamma-radiation was studied. Materials and methods: Two groups of eggs of commercial meat chicken lines were irradiated with the dose of 0.30 Gy 60Co gamma-rays before incubation and on the 19th day of incubation, respectively. The same num...

Cell Blockade in Newcastle Disease of Chickens and Chicken Embryos

The problem of cell blockade or interference has been studied using Newcastle disease of chickens as a model. Embryos may be protected against the uniformly lethal effect of the virus by previous inoculation with ultraviolet-irradiated virus. It was necessary to use 0.5 to 1 mg. of partially purified washed virus in order to demonstrate this effect. Blockade by inactive virus in the embryo was ...

Numerical status of CD4+CD25+FoxP3+ and CD8+CD28- regulatory T cells in multiple sclerosis

Objective(s): Regulatory T cells, including CD4+CD25+Fox3+ and CD8+CD28- cells play an important role in regulating the balance between immunity and tolerance. Since multiple sclerosis is an inflammatory autoimmune disease, regulatory T cells are considered to be involved in its pathogenesis. In this study, we investigated the circulatory numbers of the two mentioned types of regulatory T cells...
